Question
I have a 15 month old mini english bull whose hair falls out very easily.  She doesn't have any particular spot where there is significant hair loss.  It is just all around EVERYWHERE ALL the time.  It wasn't like this before the spadeI noticed it when she got spade when she was 8months old and entering heat.  It has been a serious problem ever since.  We have tried supplements, dinovite, changing food, changing Flea and ticket liquid to a collar.   Is it possible that this is a chemical/hormonal imbalance that can be corrected and if so what are the tests that I should ask my vet to preform?  What kind of medicine should I expect him to give?
I am at wits end .  My poor dog is confined to my kitchen because of the quantity of hair that comes off of her body on a daily basis.
Thanks for your help

Answer
bulldog bald spots ; english bulldog hair loss; grain-free dog foods:

Michelle- Have you used a grain-free food yet - NO corns or rice....??
*also, have you use any oils in the food?
Last question-  Have you had her thyroid tested ( blood test)???

Let me know ...
I sure do want to help and have some idea for you.
