6 week old bulldog puppies

I am feeding my puppies Eukanuba puppy, Lamb and Rice dog food with a little Espilac formula.  It seems to me that I am not feeding them enough. I
have been griding the puppy food and adding larger pieces of dog food in the mixure, I soak it a little with warm water and they eat it in about a minute and a half.  Not sure, but it seems like they are hungry.  They gain about 3-5 ounces a day.  Please help.  Thanks

You should be feeding them all they can eat in about 5 minutes. Get rid of the Esbilac.  They don't need it.  They should have plenty of teeth by now to crunch up their food, but if you feel better soaking it for another week that's fine, but not a lot of water.  Give them nice fresh water on in a separate bowl. I use regular Purina Puppy Chow, not the large breed formula though.

It would be a good idea to have a fecal done to see if they're carrying any worms too. That can take away from the nutrition they should be getting and make them even more hungry. They're gaining so that's a good thing.
