Female in season

Question
My female is in season and she has bleed for about 3 weeks and is still is bleeding (red blood), when is she suppose to stop bleeding?  I have a male too, and he wants to breed her and she acts like she wants him too. Is she suppose to bleed all thru her heat cycle?

Bright red blood after 3 weeks is not normal. You should see red blood in the beginning of the cycle which fades to pink after about a week and then turns dark toward the end of the cycle. I would take her to your vet and see what he has to say about this.
