Bulldog - Neutering

What would you say is the idea age for neutering a bulldog puppy?  I have read in some places that this can be done too early and have negative health effects.

Answer
If you can get it done at 4 months, that's great but definitely by 6 months at the latest.

Don't believe all the propaganda and scare tactics about this. Most of it is written by men ......no offense :o)

Seriously, your dog will live a long, healthy life as a neutered pet and the sooner you have it done, the less risk from anesthesia as well.
