Bulldogs Eyes

Question
We have a 5 1/2 month old bulldog. Last weekend I took him to the pet store with me to get him a new collor and a harness. He was on a regular leash with a collar and he was so excited with another dog and the other people there that he was pulling extremely hard. When I got him home I noticed parts of the whites of his eyes had turned red like he broke blood vessels by pulling so hard. A week later and his eyes are still red. Will this go away or will the red stay there?

Also he is a very smart little boy but he has seem to have a setback in his potty training. He seems to think that our carpet is now his pee rug. We are working with him and trying to be more observant but until then what have you found that is the best thing to use for cleaning and deordoizing urine accidents?

Also I have noticed that you have mentioned to others about e-mailing training information to them. Could you e-mail that info to me also at devilangel@charter.net. Thank you.

Answer
You can use Vizine on him. It won't hurt. He needs to be wearing a harness, not a collar too.

Puppies will have set backs. It's normal. I use Nature's Miracle for urine stains and odors. I haven't found anything that works better.

I'll email you the training info and I suggest you find an obedience class too. It's just a good social experience for him.
