overweight french bulldog

My french bulldog weighs about 40lb.She has few teeth,about 10yrs of age,full of life,can walk about half a block and then need carringing.I feed her 3oz of can and equal amount of dry dog food 2@day.How can I make loose weight  thanks

This is easy, start cooking vegetables and chicken for her. Brown rice and chicken is good. Get away from canned food totally.  If you fed her boiled natural food, she'd be trim as a young dog in about a month.  If you use chicken, pull off as much of the skin as you can before boiling. You can use hamburger too, but drain off the fat once it's boiled. Go easy on starchy stuff like white rice and potatoes. She sounds wonderful!
