puppy nose

I have an 8 week old puppy and i have two nose questions: 1. Is it normal for him to still have pink on his nose at this age? and 2. Why is his nose so dry...aren't gogs noses supposed to be wet?

Sometimes it takes longer for pigment to fill in. If both parents had good pigment chances are your puppy will too. It just make take a litter longer than you would expect.

Puppies should have wet noses.  You might have a fecal exam done to see if the puppy has any parasites. The nose should be moist, not necessarily wet.  It also could be that he's not getting enough water too.
