English Bulldog Feeding

Question
I brought my bulldog several weeks ago. when i brought him the breeder said
to try him on puppy food, but if it gave him diarrhea to put him back on the
adult food he'd been feeding him.

He has had diarrhea since giving him puppy food, so I took him to the vets
who told me to put him on cooked chicken & rice. Since being on the chicken
& rice his poo has become solid, but I'm woried if I put him on adult food now
I will be back to square one again. Is it ok to feed a English Bulldog adult food
at 17 wks? or is there something else you recomend.

Kind Regards
Jayson

Answer
"try him on puppy food"....what was he eating up until you got him??

No, it's not ok to feed a young puppy adult food.  Get a quality, natural, if possible, puppy food, like Innova or Wellness and start giving him a little bit each day in with the chicken and rice. Gradually increase the amount until he's not longer getting the chicken and rice, just the dry puppy food, no canned food, not mixed with water, just dry. Make sure he has fresh water as well.
