Feeding English Bulldog Puppy

Question
QUESTION: I have a 9-week old English Bulldog Puppy, Buddy, and am feeding him Royal Canin for Medium-size puppies. Someone bought this food for us but it says that its for puppies at least 22lbs and Buddy is not 22lbs yet. Should we definitely buy him new food? Also, how much should I be feeding him each time I feed him? It seems as if he is always hungry.

ANSWER: Hi Grace, How about adding some Innova PUPPY food to the Royal Canin food?
I sure do like Innova or Wellness Formula much better than the Royal Canin.
Also, please start this baby onto the NuVET wafer program...( great bulldog vitamin)

NuVET will prevent many of the common bullie skin problems...

QUESTION: How much food should i give him if I have been feeding him 3 times a day?

Answer
Hi again,  On the back of the bag, it will give you some ideas or guidelines for feeding amounts.
This can be helpful for you to follow.
Sounds like you are doing a great job!

For treats - Look for some good quality : NO Grainer treats are great:
Also, a good Nylabone - the ones you Can't eat, are great to chew on.
Once they have too many cracks - get rid of it.

BEST of Luck with the PUPPY
