Question
Hello I am seeing a lot of issues on luxating patella.  My bulldog will be 6 years old and has so many problems, but that's my fault because i was ignorant on on many issues when I got him.  I love him bunches though and glad he came to me and not someone who would not take care of him.  He has a limp and popping from his hind leg coming form the knee. He is on 5mg a day of prednizone for a what the vet said was a brain tumor (that was a whole other issue).  Just curious if his knee is gone or will rest help him.  He shows no sign of pain just sounds awful. Thanks for any help

Answer
Hello Everette:  Glad to hear you are so dedicated to this bullie...
I love bullies but they can come with many problems....

The luxating patella problem can come at 5 levels.  I bet he is at the 2nd level of this problem.  Many times the dog will be able to stretch the leg and the area will pop back into place.  Sometimes the vet can show you how to manipulate the area back into place.  Next time you are at the vet office ask them to show you how to do this.

Sounds like your dog is doing fine and adjusting the knee by himself.
If he is not in any pain, the area is caring for itself.  It may get worse or it many not .... Only time will tell.

NuVET / NuJoint would be a great supplement for his knee/patella problem.  NuJoin lessens or even prevents the ailments that come with age.  Here is the link - You need NuJoin plus -
