Hides

My EBD runs away everytime we try to put on his harness to take him out for a walk. He hides under the table behind the couches.. everything to avoid puttin on the harness. But when the harness is on, he will sit by the door like a good boy for as long as it takes to get lead him out the door.

Do you know how we can stop his habit of playing hide n go seek whenever we go to put on his harness?

Answer
He's trained you to play the game with him. When you get the harness on him leave it on for a few days.  When you go to put it back on, if he runs, refuse to chase him. Ignore him.

Stand by the door like you're ready to go out and if he comes over, make him sit and stay, and then put the harness on. If he runs, ignore him and walk away.  He'll find out that a harness means good things are coming and not just a brief game.
