Wont come out of crate

Question
My 11wk old female, Clover, does well most of the time with the potty training.  I understand she doesn't really have the bladder control to prevent accidents.  The only problem we are really having is when we come home and she is in her crate, I open the the door and she won't come out.  She gets soooo excited we are home that she pees in there.  I know that if I could get her out she could make it outside, but I've read that you should never pull a puppy out of hiding or they may become aggressive.  With all the progress we've made with curbing the biting I don't want to start over by pulling her out.  Help please...

Answer
If you're using a wire crate, take the top off it. When you get home, simple lift her out quickly and make a big deal of how happy you are to see her and take her outside.  If she's in a plastic crate, get a wire crate because the isolation of a plastic crate is not condusive to a well adjusted puppy or one who has to spend extended periods of time alone.

The biting thing is just puppy stuff.  She probably won't be completely over that until she's cut her permanent teeth at 4-5 months old. Just be patient, she'll be fine.
