Question
QUESTION: HELP..... I have a 15 month English bulldog..... He has had skin issues his entire
life. We got him at 4 months.  He started with allergy type issues... itching his
face and neck until they bleed, lick his toes (that look swollen) red inside his ears
and even after a bath he never stays smelling very fresh. I have been to many
vets and everyone says something different and gives meds.He has been on all
kinds of different meds, nothing has changed except for my bank account.  I
have been all over the internet trying to figure out what I can do. I have changed
his diet to the ALLERGY foods, then to homemade food, back to an allergy one
(INSTINCT). Medicated baths, cleaning his face everyday.   He recently contracted
Guardia(sp?) we cleared that up but at the same time he had  a bunch of little
bumps that turned into bigger and many more, they bleed and have puss in
them, they look like big pimples. My poor baby is so miserable and I am sick of
going to vets that have no idea about Bulldogs.

ANSWER: Sue, I can help - Yes, glad you did get a diagnosis from a number of Allopathic vets...
NOW, we can try some Holistic and natural options for your bullie kid...
I am sure your baby has yeast and also Environmental Allergies...

What country do you reside in?  I can make some suggestions but need to know if you are in the USA or other?

Thanks
Talk to you soon!

QUESTION: We live in California. Also, the meds that the Dr. gave us last time was
PREDNISONE AND CEFPODOXINE. I just gave him a bath in 2 HLORHEXIDINE,
luke warm water, patted him dry, use 50/50 hydrogen peroxide to wipe out
the folds of his fat little face, patted dry and then tried to use a tiny bit of BAG
BALM on the bumps/his folds and neck.  He seems pretty happy right now.
But it wont last for long. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly

Sorry, I forgot to mention - he can go onto 1 NuVET wafer per day after a few months.
You may want to mention this to the Auto ship person:
YOU don't want to get 180 count for too many months.  YOU can go down to just 1 per day....down the road:

Most dogs can remain on just 1 per day for long term...VERY safe and natural:

NOSE folds:

Also, corn starch in the nose folds and other folds - just sprinkle a small amount of corn starch on a q-tip or flat cotton pads...
Corn starch is safe and keeps the folds dry and free from Yeast.

Thanks

Hi - yes - let's make some low cost and healthy changes to his program.
The Instinct Dog food is good:
Here is what I would get : the rabbit product...
If you are using the chicken, turkey or lamb - please start mixing them with the rabbit.
I would like to see your baby on rabbit, only.
So, do a 50/50 mix of the Old Instinct and the New Rabbit Instinct.... make a slow change over in flavors.

Here is a link to the bag you need:

Hope this link works -

Next, Please place your kid onto some Salmon oil - give 1 tablespoon 2 x per day - mixed into the dry food.  MUST be pure salmon oil and you can find this at the local pet store.

Also, I would love to see your baby get a Probiotic..... Please order some Nature's Sunshine Flora Force - give 3 per day for the first 10 days - Hide in cheese or wet dog food....I believe Instinct makes a WET canned rabbit food.
After 10 days - give 2 Flora Force Probiotics per day.
Need this long term:  very safe:

ONE more thing:

I would wash your kid in this 2 x per month.
