growth rate

I am getting a bulldog pup ina few days. Wehave met the breders, pup etc. I was wondering the approximate growth rate by age on average in terms of pounds.We will be getting a male, and both his sire and dame are very large, not disproportionally, but around 70 lbs foe the dame and 85 for the sire. Being new to Bulldogs what can we expect or prepare for? thank you for your advice in advance.         Lea

Are these AKC Bulldogs? The sizes are huge and I'm wondering if you're talking about Olde English Bulldogges?

Either way, you can expect your dog to be between 70 and 85 lbs. Keep him trim as he grows because you don't want to put undo stress on growing bones and joints. Avoid flights of stairs. Don't allow him to jump up or down very often.

Don't feed "large breed" formula puppy or dog food. Regular formula is fine for these dogs.
