Pulled Muscle Care

Hi. I have two quick questions

1) Our 8 month old Bulldog must have pulled a muscle in puppy class. She is limping a little. What are some common treatments for this?

2) Our bulldog has a cinnamon bun tail that tends to trap some poop. We clean her tail out after each poop. Is this something that we will forever need to do with her? Any suggestions?

Pulled what muscle? Leg, shoulder, knee? Usually rest and perhaps an aspirin a day for a few days will do it unless it could possibly be an ACL injury in the knee. If the limping doesn't appear to be getting better in a few days, she needs to see a vet.

The tail is something you'll have to be vigilant about her entire life. If not, you will end up with infection and possibly amputation.
