English Bulldogs that fight

Question
I had 1 male and 4 females.  My male pass on and the girls fight bad.  Three are the mothers and they tried to kill her several times.  I had to have her hospitalized and drain tubs in her leg.  I now keep them totally separated Would like to stop this so can plan.  Now within the last week Feb 5 the three sisters are fighting.  We had a family emergency and wasn't with them as much.  They seem to depend on me and want my attention.  They seem to be jealous maybe.  One growled and they got into a bad fight and it was hard to break up.  After they they were fighting 2 decided to go on one which looks like the mom.  Not sure if that made it worse or not.  Locked them up for about 4 hours when I took them out they were ok for about 30 minutes then go into it bad again.  They seem to draw blood most times.  So now I can only put 2 together and not sure how much longer that will last.  I love these dogs and don't want anything to happen to them and don't want to get rid of them.  Is there anything I can do to get this to stop happening and they all get along again.    Thank you

Cheryl

Answer
Cheryl,

Once your dogs have learned to fight, I don't think you will be able to change their behavior.

It is not worth the risk to keep them.  You could be hurt in trying to break up the fighting.

It is not uncommon for bulldog to fight.  Especially when they are breeding or having puppies.  It seems like two will get along fine, but don't add a third.

You should either keep them completely apart or find new homes for two or three.  You could keep two and see how they get along, but if they start fighting, you will only be able to keep one.

Make sure to new owners know about the fighting.
