Bulldog- Can mites be places besides ears?

Question
Our 5 month old female has had problems with ear mites. I've recently noticed that she seems to have the same brown "ear mite matter" around her privates and lower belly. At first I thought it was dirt or poop but I'll clean her with a baby wipe and by the next morning its back again. Could the ear mites have migrated? She also pees on our bed within minutes of me putting on clean sheets.

Answer
This sounds like flea dirt to me. You dog very well could have a heavy flea infestation. Ear mites stay in the ears. You really need to address this flea problem right away.  Then you should worm your dog for tape worms once the fleas are gone.

As far as the bed wetting goes, this is just a nasty habit. It's territorial marking behavior and I wouldn't put up with it. Either close up your bedroom or crate the dog when you can't watch her every minute.
