Chewing

My bulldog has been chewing on my dresser.  Even when I place large, heavy objects in front of it he somehow still gets to it.  I have also tried the sour apple spray.  He is also chewing up the remotes and my shoes which I understand now that I need to make sure they are picked up.  He has plenty of toys etc.  Is there anything that I can do about this?  He is 10 months old so I know he is in the puppy stage still.

This is why they make dog crates. Buy one, put him in it with his own toys. Use it when you can't watch him every minute and as a place to sleep. He's already developed very bad behavior and it will take time to over come it. You have to be very consistent in order to stop this unless you want a 50 lb termite living in your house.
