american bulldog and cleaning agents

I had a scare last night, I have a 8weeks old American bulldog beauty.  and yesterday i cleaned the floor with water and a lil bit of PineSol around 5pm. well around 10pm i see my puppy make a strange noise, and from one min to the next her muscles went stiff and leg went back and her from legs went limp as well... her jaw locked... i grabbed her and took her out side... i pried her jaws open and blew air into her, within a cpl of sec she came back to me, but she was still a lil out of it... i watch close after her through the night.. and now she seems ok.. so I'm assuming it was the pinesol scent.. what can i clean my floors with?

I've used PineSol for years and never had a puppy react that dramatically.  I would just open the windows and doors for ventilation until the smell is gone and see how it goes.  Could be because she's just so close to the floor at her age. You did a great job.

If you want to use something else in the meantime, try lysol and just a little bit in the water.

I would really keep an eye on this puppy to make sure it's not seizures you're seeing.  It could be something as simple as low blood sugar as well. If it happens again, give her some honey right away, like 1/2 tsp. depending upon how big she is or a tsp if she's over 15 lbs.
