Question

Winston
Hi i have a gorgeous 10 month old English Bulldog and for about a week now he has been limping, it's his front left leg. I'm not really sure what to do or if this is a common problem? He's still enjoying his walks and doesn't appear to be in any pain. Also in a morning i feed him dry biscuits mixed with a tin and he just has dry food on an evening, is this sufficient? Many thanks for your help.
Carla

Answer
Oh Boy Winston is Soooo Cute!!  Thanks for the photo..
I wonder if he pulled a tendon or ligament...?  How about give him a few days of rest with No walks.
Also- start him on some Vitamin and Joint Support -
here is an example of one:

As for food - how about you serve some doggie meatballs in the am with the biscuit..

2-3 meatballs just in the am -
here is the recipe:
DOG MEATBALLS-

Dog Dog Food Recipe by Michele, provided to her by her vet.

Ground chicken
Ground beef
4% small curd cottage cheese
2 cups quaker oats soaked in low sodium chicken broth
peas
string beans
2 tablespoons salmon or fish oil (health food store or break open capsules from grocery store)
2 eggs
2 boiled yams or sweet potatoes -this is great protein and helps keep everything moist.

Mix together and make into meatballs the size of your dogs portion. Bake them at 350 until they are completely done.
Freeze into bags and warm up in microwave until warm and serve. They should love it and it is all digested so there is very little waste and smell.
I hope this recipe helps.
