Elongated soft pallet surgery during C-Section?

My female is due with puppies on April 16, 2007..YEA!! I was wanting her to have the surgery during her c-section since she would already be under anesthesia.  What is your recommendation?

Bad idea for several reasons.

The dog will need to be under anesthesia for a long time if you do both at once. Also, there cannot be a breathing tube if the palate is being resectioned. If you lose you female, chances are you'll lose the puppies too.

I can't believe a vet would do both procedures at the same time on a Bulldog.
