Weight

Hi, I have an almost 7 month old female english bulldog. She weighs about 25 pounds. She doesn't look too thin to me. She has a nice waist and seems to be putting on weight. We got her at 4 months and she weighed 21 pounds but she was overweight when we got her or at least looked pretty chubby. I just want to make sure that she is growing properly and not too small for her age. Thanks.

25 lbs. seems light to be for a 7 month old puppy especially considering she weighed 21 lbs. 3 months ago. I would expect her to weigh around 30 lbs. at this age at least. I don't like to see fat puppies, but they do need nutrition to grow and develop properly. If her parents were small dogs, this may be just fine.
