CHEWING PROBLEMS

I have an 8 month old American Bulldog who chews on things.  She has torn holes in my sofa, shoes, on a wall.  Can you please tell me how to make this stop.  I love my dog but I cannot have this continue.

If you haven't taken this dog to obedience class, do it now. Put the dog in a crate when you're not around to watch her and give her things like heavy toys or heavy rawhide chews of her own. She will eventually outgrow this, but you shouldn't allow it to become just a bad habit.
