40 day old Bulldog

Question
I just got a puppy english bulldog 3 days ago and he is 40 days old today.
I am not quite sure how to train it and deal with it because its the first time i deal with a dog this breed. Is it agressive or friendly? should i be very firm or not at the moment? I am just so lost and dont know how what to do.
I hope you can help me out.

Bulldogs are not aggressive generally. They can play rough as puppies.  They need consistency and routine in order to develop into well adjusted adults. You need to be firm, but understanding of the puppy's age as well.

Don't expect the puppy to be completely house trained until it's at least 5 months old. Get a crate and use that to facilitate training. If you can find a puppykindergarten class, go with your puppy.  Ask for assistance from others in your area.
