dog hair

I have a short haired miniture pitbull.My question
is, Why does my dog shed hair so bad? And what can i do to stop the hair from failing out?
He sheds real bad also. thank you for ur time.

Well, first of all, I've never heard of a long haired pit bull nor have I ever heard of a miniature pit bull.  I'm wondering if your dog is a mix and this might explain why you're seeing so much shedding.  There are several other possibilities, like poor diet, parasites, and a simple as the change of seasons.  I would start with a fecal exam at the vet and if your dog has not worms, I would consider a different diet.
