QuestionHello, my British Bulldog, Buddha, is 3 and has numerous allergies to foods and most things outdoors like grasses, certain trees etc etc... I have him at the vets often for his itching but have never had a recommendation on what to feed him. Is there anything that I can feed him to alleviate his itching or any creams that would help his itchy jowls and armpits?
It breaks my heart to watch him so itchy and I don't really want to pump him full of drugs if there are natural alternatives.
Your advice would be welcome
Thank you, Portia
AnswerOH, I am so glad you asked for help! I bet he has yeast reltated to his allergies. Here are some suggestions to try:
First, Let's get this boy on some Innova EVO or Wellness CORE- the two foods can be found at pet stores.. YOU can also order "on - line" but you will have to pay for some shipping of heavy dog food bags. I hope you have a pet store around ???? If not , let me know and I may be able to help with another brand.
Next, your boy need some Acidophilus 1 billion CFUs - give him one per day - hide in some cheese or food.
Make sure you get this ASAP - You can find it at Walmart, Target, or any other store that has a Health and Beauty section...( human supplement used for dogs, too)
Last, Please call Joan now and get some NuVET Plus - Take the 90 DAY trial and see what NuVET can do for your kid's skin, coat and overall health.
*****Also, NuVET helps to build up the immune system so little Buddha can fight off the allergens***** We have so many Bullies on NuVET because of Allergies...

I sure hope this helps....You can also give your kid some Turmeric - here is a link on this : Very safe and may help with the allergies...
