very big bulldog

Question
i have a 18 month old male english bulldog that is huge. He is 18 inches high at the front shoulder and approx. 85lbs. He is however healthy and not overwieght. he is an akc registered english bulldog. He is just a lot bigger than the breed standard? Have you heard of bulldogs this big????

I had an 84 lb. AKC female once. It happens but it's not common. I actually prefer the big Bulldogs but you don't see them very often.  Keep in mind, he still has the organs of a normal sized Bulldog so keep the weight off him and he should live a long healthy life.
