I have a female & male english bulldog, the female is 7 months and is coming in heat. The male bulldog is 7 weeks younger than the female. Of course I don't want my female bred, and the male acts like he could care less, but is it harmful or bad for either of them? Thanks!

It's not an act. He really couldn't care less. There's no chance your female will get bred, but to avoid a stressful situation for both, I suggest keeping one or the other crated during this time. I hope you're aware that 99% of male Bulldogs have to be collected for artificial breedings and 99% of females require c-sections.
Good luck.
AnswerI suggest you gain some experience before you get into breeding Bulldogs. First of all, what are you going to do if your female comes out of the c-section and rejects her puppies? Are you prepared to bottle feed puppies every 2 hours around the clock for the first 2 weeks and then every 4 hours after that?
I never breed before the third heat cycle. Bulldogs aren't the best mothers and the longer you wait, the better the chances are for a successful litter.
