Is my 11 week EB too aggressive?

Question
I need some advise!  I am getting a little frustrated and stressed about my pup.  He is 11 weeks old and we have had him for almost 3 weeks now.  He is adorable, but only when he sleeps or when he's still groggy from his naps.  After that, he pretty much attacks my wife and I.  I have puncture wounds to prove it.  He attacks my feet and ankles when I take him out on a leash.  He jumps and rips my shorts.  He goes for the face.  When I yell at him to stop he just barks and growls back.  I notice that he gets voilent near naptime by barking, growling and making chewbacca like noises and flipping around and digging his face in his bed, sofa, etc.  I took him to a reputable trainer in our area and she stated that he definitely has aggression issues.  We registered him through AKC and received the pedigree.  Did we get a bully with bad temperament from the parents?  For the almost too good of a price we paid for the pup, maybe so.  Or is this normal behavior for bully pups?  My wife is stressed because she can't play with him because she's scared and I don't blame her.  I don't want our marriage negatively affected by our pup.  Will he grow out of this with good training?  Please advise!

By the way, my wife also breaks out in hives in the area he gets saliva on her skin.  Is there anything out there to relieve that?

Answer
If you email me directly I'll send you some training advice. Secondarily, I can't believe that an adult is afraid of an 11 week old puppy. It sounds like she's allergic to him anyway so perhaps finding him a new home would solve all your problems.

If you didn't get to observe the parents there's no way to know if this aggression is hereditary.
