New Bulldog Puppy

Question
Hello,

I just bought a new bulldog puppy and I have read about tendencies, mannerisms, special needs, etc., however the puppy that I had purchased is not full american or olde english, it's a mix of the two. Her mother was 1/2 olde english and 1/2 american, and her dad was full olde english. The only problem is she looks more like an american and almost like a boxer with her coloring and markings. Finally, my question is how large would you say I should expect her to get? She's only 11 weeks old and already about 10" tall and 16lbs. Overall she is the sweetest dog so far and is really playful. I'm very excited to take on a new breed, my other dog is a black lab and I've always wanted a bulldog. Thank you very much and any suggestions that you have for me please throw those at me as well.

Sincerly,
Nate

Answer
The only way to judge how big your puppy will get is to take a look at the parent dogs.  Because this dog is mixed, it would be very difficult to determine which breed of dog she might take after.  It's fair to say she's going to be rather tall and I don't believe really heavy, probably around 65 lbs as an adult. I highly recommend early socialization and obedience training if you want a well adjusted family companion dog.  Don't put this off until you have a problem.  Usually by that time, it's too late to correct it.

Best of luck.
