Old English Bulldog

We have a Bulldog we got him at 10 wks old and love him a lot. I work out of town a good bit of time but my wife and kids take loving care of him one thing he does that bothers me. If he gets a bone or somthing with meat on it like a bone he gets werid like he would bite us is this normal or is there a cure?

This puppy is exhibiting the only behavior he knows which he learned from his siblings. Growing, protecting territory, biting are all he knows until someone teaches him acceptable social behavior with humans.

Immediately, stop giving him bones with meat on them. All he should be eating is dry food and water and perhaps an occasional treat when he goes into his crate to sleep. That's it.

I would get this dog neutered asap and get him into an obedience class as well.  OEBs can become very head strong very quickly. They need to know early on who's running the show, and it can't be them.
