bulldog aggressive

My Bulldog is now 5 years old and for the past year he has been snapping at people and at times me and my family. This does not occur often, he is also not nuetered. We are very careful around him now which he shouldn't, but my question is what should we do about this?

I hear this quite often. There could be a number of reasons why he's doing this. Perhaps he's losing his hearing or his eye sight isn't good now. This is usually the first thing to consider.

There could be other issues like joint aches and pains. Try giving him an aspirin a day and see if his mood gets better. Aside from this, he could be just getting crotchity in his advanced years. Think of him as your grandfather.
