victorian bulldog ears

Question
my victorian bulldog is 4 months old and his ears are permanently pricked upright. They were cocked when we got him 5 weeks ago, then they began doing all kinds of things before settling this way about 2 weeks ago. He looks like an over-grown bat.  How can I put this right. I asked my vet but she wasnt much help and I have been trawling the net looking for advice.

Answer
It's a bit late to do much unless you can find a vet who is willing to staple them in a folded position until the cartilage breaks and they stay that way. Usually if they are taped around 8 weeks, you can avoid this altogether.

Stapling sounds terrible but it's really no big deal if you can get someone to do it. Leave it for about a month and then see if it worked. If not, I think you're out of luck.
