Growth

Question
I have a 5 month old ab who weighs 47 lbs is there any way to tell that he is growing on the right tract, or how big he will get,  Also is there anything that I could do to help him reach his maximum growth potential?

This is quite heavy for a puppy this age. There's no way for me to tell how big he will get without knowing his parents.

I do want to caution you about fast growth and too much weight. Bulldogs' joints are terrible and if you put too much stress on them as a puppy, you're in for trouble. I would rather see a puppy who is not roly poly fat.

Do not feed your puppy large breed formula food. A good quality diet with allow him to grow at the proper rate.
