My Bulldog smells bad

Question
My Son has a english bulldog by the name of "Jake". Jake is 10 months old, and he stinks!  He is bathed at least once a week and even after his bath he still smells.  We wash his ears, and clean his wrinkles and apply vaseline to them.  He is taking every step he knows to keep him from smelling but it's not working. Because he tends to "potty" in his crate we realize this adds to the smell but he's not been in a crate for 4 days and I've bathed him really good and he still smells. He has always smelled bad.  He loves to lay on the air vents were it is cool, and he's like a giant, smelly airfreshner that makes the whole house stink.  Any advice??

Answer
This must be the same, big 10 month old with the house training problems.

Odor comes from the inside out. It's usually a nutritional thing. Once you get his vet work done and address his other issues.  I would suggest putting him on a quality food like Eukanuba "lite or low cal". It will take time before you notice a change.

It's going to be a process to get this dog straightened around as I believe there are several issues that need to be taken care of.
