Ear Bleeding and infection in canine;

Question
My 7 year old English Bulldog has always suffered from ear infections which generally seem to be temporary.  He recently started to favour his right ear with a lot of shaking and rubbing it on any surface.  When he shakes it it sounds like it has fluid in it.  Now the entire ear canal is covered in a dark reddish brown liquid paste which I belive is blood.  He is not eating at all including snacks (extremely weird), sleeps even more (I usually have to force him to wake up to eat and go out).  When he is awake he is extremly sluggish.  Please help!  I feed him Iams Premium Protection Adult Dog food.
