my sick english bulldog puppy

Hi I have a 4 month old english bulldog. I noticed today, my brother n law said that my puppy was shaking and breathing heavily. I called the store where i bought her from and they told me to take her to any vet close. She is an AKC so she has papers and vet coverage. My husband just took her to the vet and they told him that she had a temp of 104 and wanted to run Xrays because it looks like she may have Phnemonia. I am scared for her, do you think she will get better or eventually pass because of being so young? Do they give meds to heal her? I am clueless. It sucks because we just bought her for our 3 children for Christmas. Thank you

First, I'm really sorry to hear about your puppy!!!

By the time bulldogs are 4 months old, they are pretty strong.  Since you have gotten her to the vet, it is very likely that she will be ok.  I assume she is still at the vet.

First, they will probably give her antibiotics.  They can also give her breathing treatments if needed.

Unless there is something else going on to cause these symptoms, I think she will get better.
