english bulldog 7 yeard old female

Question

"My english bull dog is 7 years old.. I love her so much and I want her to
breed.. she never had babies.. the vet said there was no problem but I read in
this page that a 4 year old was too old to breed because the risk of
anesthesia... yesterday the vet made the insemination and today will do it
again.. im very afraid because I dont want to lose her and I love her. please
help me with some advise of what to do.. thanks"

7 years old is very old for a bulldog to get bred.  There is a very strong possibility that the breeding will not be successful.  

If your bulldog does get bred, I would not worry about the anesthesia.  There is always a risk with anesthesia but I don't think it will be that much more with age.
