How many puppies does an Old English Bulldog usually have in their first litter?  Ours is a year and a few months old.

There's no right answer for you. I've had everything for one to 12 on the first litter. If you're planning on breeding your female, I suggest you wait until she's 2 years old or has had her third heat cycle. These dogs mature physically around a year, but mentally, they are still very much puppies.
