Breeding female bulldogs

Question
I am buying a new female English BD puppy and the breeder stated that it is healthier for the female to be breed at least once. They offer a better price if I agree to let them breed her after a year and I would get one of the puppies if the litter is 4 or more. Is it healthier for her or worse? Of course, I know it benefits the breeder but what about my puppy? What are the pros and Cons? Thanks

Answer
This is ridiculous.  You dog will actually be much healthier if you have her spayed before she ever goes in heat. Your breeder would love to have you raise a female for her at your expense so she can breed her at her convenience. Don't fall for this please.
