Bulldog puppies

Dear Marjorie
Could you give me a rough estimate for the weight of a normal  15 week old british bulldog puppy? We are unsure whether our bulldog is too small.

Answer
This is such a broad question because I really have no way of knowing what your puppy might be expected to weigh without knowing the size of the parents.

However, a general idea might be somewhere between 15-20 lbs.
I've had 8 week old puppies that weighed 7 lbs. and some that weighed 12 lbs.  If your puppy comes from small parents, then he's going to be a small dog.
