Question
we have a 2 yr. old female, english bulldog. she  has a terrible  mucus problem
and we are looking for something to give her that is safe that would break it up.
If we don't she gets real sick. she already had the surgery for the soft palate.
anybody have a answer, i hope so

Hi Jeanne:  You can give Robitussin DM.... Here is the dosage :
Give 1 teaspoon for every 20 pounds of weight.
20 lb dog gets 1 teaspoon or 5 cc
40 lb dog gets 2 teaspoons or 10 cc
Make sure it is the DM / to break up secretions.

Also, make sure you baby is on some supplememnts.....
