Question
We have a wonderful one year old American Bulldog who is not yet neutered and a male. He is sweet and not at all aggressive. We are thinking of getting a new puppy to be his active companion. A breeder has indicated that this would be a nightmare if we were to get another male. He claims it is an alpha situation yet I am the alpha dominant over the dog in my home. Do you perceive this as a problem? Is a female a much better choice for this breed? Thanks so much!!!!

Answer
Oh Boy, I agree with the breeder!  Two males not neutered is Hell.
Yes, get a female if you can.
It will be some nice for you all!

BEST wishes on this....
