puppy biting

Question
I have a 10 week old puppy and wanted to know how to deal with
his playful biting.  I know he is a puppy and will want to bite
everything, including toes and hands, so how should I deal with it?
Should I firmly correct him everytime with a stern "NO" and give
him an acceptable toy to chew on?  Or should I just let him
continue with his playful biting?

Answer
First of all, consider that all he knows so far he's learned from his siblings. That includes, growling, biting and rough housing.

You have the right idea. I use "NO BITE" and then give him his toy. You have to be very consistent and patient. It's not easy but he'll catch on eventually.
