Back right leg

I have a an one year old ole english/english bulldog. i notice today that he was slow getting up and that his right leg was dragging a little. He seems to be alright after he is on it for a while but when he sits for a certain amount of time he has trouble moving the back leg.Does this sound seriuos. I also checked for ticks and there are none to be found.

The dog has a hip problem. I would put him on a glucosomine supplement right away. You can also give him a low dose aspirin once a day when he seems sore. If it gets worse, you'll have to consult your vet.  Bulldogs have terrible hips, even the Oldies albeit a bit better than the AKC dogs. A year old is very young to be experiencing these symptoms.
