Question
hi its luna problems again ive been back the vet who told me luna heart and lungs were fine and she could come off the antibiotics, we weren,t so sure when we got home so we went to a vet who dealt with the British bulldog who wasn,t happy at all and immediately picked up on an abnormal rib cage which is slightly narrow than normal and she may have ? not sure yet a soft pallet, which the first vet didn't pick up on, she is now on 3 types of tablets now  if i hadn't took her for a second opinion my puppy would be close to dying. we are gutted she still lively and can eat for England but we need her lungs to clear the fluid and she can still lead a normal life, but hope  she can cope in adult life with having a problem with her ribs as the second vet said they can but his main concern is the fluid i a am now on my way to putting as formal complaint in about the first vets and she gave us unprofessional advise and shouldn't,at be allowed to do this again. and she has admitted fault. too late now!!!!!
we love her to bits and hope she can get through this.
any suggestions to help clear all this gunk...

Answer
Bulldogs have a very difficult time getting rid of gunk because they have such a hard time coughing it up. This is due to the elongated soft palate. It seems like you've finally found a vet who knows what he's doing. Stick to his advice and be patient. It seems like you got a puppy with a lot of problems to begin with.
