My bulldog stinks!

Question
Marie,
I have been reading all of your great advice on caring for EBD's and I have a question please.  We have an adorable bullie baby named Stella who is 11 weeks old.  The problem is, she smells bad!  I took her to the vet the day after I got her from the breeder, and she got a clean bill of health, but in the last 4 or 5 days she has really begun to smell bad, despite having a bath.  We haven't changed anything since we brought her home except to use the flea repellent on the back of her neck (I can't recall the brand), given her a heart worm tablet from the vet, and giving her 1/2 a Nu-Vet supplement daily.  We have been feeding her Puppy Chow, because that's what the breeder fed her, but I would like to gradually change that to Innova.  What could be causing the smell?  It's like "dog smell" to the 200th degree!  One night she did urinate in her crate, but we washed all of the bedding, and her.  I know sometimes smell may be dietary.  Her stools aren't runny, but they're not really solid or firm either.  Any ideas?

Answer
Hi - the food you are feeding is not good at all... change her over to the innova puppy with your old food... do a 50/50 mix for about 2 weeks and then go to 100% Innova.
As for the NuVET - give her a whole wafer for the next 10 days - she could have some yeast and the NuVET will help to get rid of the yeast bacteria.

Also, feed her 1/4 of a cup 2 x per day of Activia Brand of yogurt.
Do this for 4-5 days... It will also help if she has smelly yeast.

Good Luck...

Let me know what happens..
