Question
"I have a Female english bulldog and a Male olde english bulldog what would you call their puppies if they mate?  What does one look like- I dont know if I want to mate them if it is unhealthy. I am really interested in what their puppy would look like. My dog is in heat and I dont know if I should separate them or not-she is on her 3rd day of her heat cycle."

Answer
Jodie,

Before you consider breeding your English bulldog, make sure you have done research about whelping and raising bulldog puppies.  Your female bulldog will most likely need a c-section.

If you are prepared for that, then I think breeding an English bulldog with an olde English bulldog would be fine.  The olde English bulldog has been developed from breeding 1/2 English bulldog.  They are bigger than an English bulldog, so chances of a c-section are even more likely.
