Heat cycle

Hi I have a female bulldog that will be a year old in a month. She had her first heat at about six months of age. When should I expect her to come in again?

She also her wrinkles on her face are so bad I wash her face every 2 to 3 days and they are at the point they are so raw they are bleeding.

You should expect her to come in season in 6 month intervals. This isn't always so, but it's the norm.

Stop washing the wrinkles so much.  They are obviously irritated and sore. Get some Desitin ointment and use that between washings to soothe the skin and heal it. Only wash her about once a week. If you have to, just use a dry soft cloth between washings to keep up with it.
