agressive 2 year old bulldog

hello i have recently received a 2 year old bulldog from a friend. i am having some problems with it. it is really hyper, which i like but i tends to bite peoples feet and quite often their hands. i cannot have one guest without him trying to eat their shoes or bite their hands. i gave him a toy so that he can let out all his aggressiveness with the toy. but when he is done playing with the toy,then will start being aggressive again with people. like i said i am new to this dog it has only been about three weeks but i thought he would have adapted to the new environment by now.

This sounds like some type of separation anxiety issue. The hyperness would drive me insane and that may never end. However, I would strongly suggest taking this dog to obedience classes asap. I'm wondering if you're his second home or has there been more? His behavior is fueled by insecurity and lack of training. And no, 3 weeks may not be enough time for him to settle in.

If he's not neutered already, do that yesterday.
